Where do I find Stints?

Stints is an anti-bloat utility that lives entirely natively in your Mac's menu bar at the top of your screen. Click the timer icon to access your projects and start tracking.

How do I use Stints?

Simply click on the Stints icon in your menu bar. Add a new project name and hit enter, or select a previously saved project from the dropdown. Then, click "Start Tracking". When you're done, click "Stop". It's that simple.

How do I export my tracked time?

Click the "Export CSV" button in the Stints menu. It will instantly generate an invoice-ready CSV file of all your tracked time and reveal it in your Mac's Finder (saved to your Documents folder).

How do I uninstall Stints?

Because Stints is a native macOS application and operates within the Apple sandbox, you can uninstall it just like any other Mac App Store app. Open Launchpad, click and hold the Stints icon until it jiggles, and click the 'X' to delete it. macOS will automatically securely remove the app and its local data container.

Stints Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 31, 2026

1. Data Collection

Stints is built for privacy and performance. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your time-tracking data, project names, personal information, or usage analytics. There are zero cloud accounts and zero tracking scripts.

2. How Your Data is Used

Your project names and tracked time histories are stored locally on your Mac within a secure, sandboxed container. This data never leaves your device and is only used to populate your local UI and generate your CSV exports.

3. Third-Party Access

Because Stints does not collect any data or use any third-party frameworks, absolutely no data is shared with or accessible by third parties.
