Where do I find MacClip?

MacClip lives natively in your Mac's menu bar at the top of your screen. Look for our icon to access your clipboard history anytime.

How do I use MacClip?

Simply click on the MacClip icon in your menu bar to see your recent clipboard history. Click any item in the list to instantly copy it back to your active clipboard, ready to paste anywhere.

Does MacClip need special permissions?

To function seamlessly, MacClip may request basic Accessibility permissions so it can interact with your clipboard. This is handled securely by macOS, and you can manage these permissions anytime in System Settings > Privacy & Security.

How do I uninstall MacClip?

Because MacClip is a native macOS application, you can uninstall it just like any other Mac App Store app. Open Launchpad, click and hold the MacClip icon until it jiggles, and click the 'X' to delete it. Alternatively, you can open your Applications folder in Finder and drag MacClip to the Trash.

MacClip is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your clipboard data, personal information, or usage analytics. Everything you copy stays locally on your device.

Your clipboard history is stored temporarily and locally on your Mac solely for the purpose of allowing you to access and paste your recently copied items. This data is never sent to any external servers.

3. Third-Party Access

Because MacClip does not collect any data, no data is shared with third parties.
